This step must be done by Salesforce administrator when SalesTrip is first installed.
- SalesTrip Activation enables active live-trip bookings in your environment. Activation of this setting enables actual purchases and flight reservations - trip booking - for all employees who have access to SalesTrip. For sandbox testing & practice, keep disabled.
- Select “Mileage Reimbursement Rates” and view provided rates. Review / verify rates to ensure they match your policy and/or current government published rates. Note: 2019 rates provided by default.
- Select Payment Methods to setup a default Corporate Card (typically referred to as Lodge or Ghost card) used by all travellers for major trip purchases such as airfare, car rental, and/or hotel. If your company does not use a Lodge or Ghost card in real-life, skip this step.
Any card entered here will default as primary payment method for all users trip bookings. As noted, this will default but can be overridden on any given purchase if needed.
(Don’t worry, we are PCI Compliant & the card number is encrypted upon save. Only the last 4 digits are visible throughout the app!)

Complete required fields with fictitious data as you see fit.
If desired to make this the default purchase method for travellers, be sure to select “Corporate Card” at the top of the screen, and check the box for Default Trip Purchase Method at the bottom.
Save.
Note: this is a “fictitious” card number and no purchase will occur; it is to be used for testing purposes only in Sandbox environment, allowing Corporate Lodge/Ghost Card simulation of trip search, booking and ticketing, followed by expense creation such that the entire process can be tested from start-to-finish.
**Note: Loyalty Programs will be used for future features & are not applicable at this time.
