SalesTrip is simple to configure and customise, especially when following our best practices. Below these are broken down into recommended and required practices.
- A few picklists contain values that are necessary for the normal operation of SalesTrip. Please do not remove or change picklist values for the following fields on the Expense Object: Expense Type, Status, and Scan Type. It is okay to add new values.
- Fields added to the 'Additional Fields' fieldset on the Expense object cannot be set as required or Expenses cannot be created.
- Ensure you customise object record pages to include the relevant SalesTrip actions, and components where it makes sense e.g. if you want to create expenses against a custom or standard object of your choosing ensure you have added the 'Create Expense' action and relevant related list.
- Users should complete their SalesTrip Profiles to reduce the amount of manual data input.
