When User want to define for Expense any Custom Type, then need to follow the below steps to ensure the Object -> Expense Type -> API name must be same as Custom Metadata Types –> Expense Type -> Manage Records –> Expense Type Name
Define API Name under Object -> Expense Type-> API Name
Steps to be done for defining API Name –
Step1 – Select Setup
Step2 – User will get the below screen, need to select Object Manager
Step3 – User will get the below screen, select Expense
Step4 – User will get the below screen, select Fields & Relationships
Step5 – User will get the below screen, select Type
Step6 – User will get the below screen; API name must be same as Expense Type Name (Custom Metadata Types –> Expense Type -> Manage Records –> Expense Type Name)
Step7 – If User want to add New or Edit any record, Click on “View Expense Type Value Set”
Step8 – User will get the below screen, Click on New button to add new value or Click on Edit link to edit any value.
Define Expense Type Name under Custom Metadata Types –> Expense Type -> Manage Records –> Expense Type Name
Steps to be done for defining Expense Type Name –
Step1 - Select Setup
Step2 – User will get the below screen, enter “Custom Metadata Types” in Quick Find Box, Select “Custom Metadata Types”
Step3 – User will get the below screen, Click on Manage Records for Expense Type
Step4 – User will get the below screen; Expense Type Name must be same as API Name (Object -> Expense Type -> API name).
If User want to add new record, click on New button
Step5 – User will get the below screen to add new record.
